Trust me, I'll never tell a soul

So its 90° over here in nyc and I see dudes on facebook posting statuses like “all dark skin girls should stay indoors today” or “im not trying to get any darker I don’t wanna be black!” And these are my fellow africans and African-americans saying this! How dare you say some shit like this! And about your own people?! Why? What’s wrong with having dark skin? Im proud of my skin and you should be as well! Our ancestors in africa had dark skin and never saw it as a curse they never made fun of someone because they were darker! So why are you?? It pisses me off so much because these little snide comments about your own people should never be tolerated. If it isnt okay for another race to say it, it should NEVER be okay for you to say it.
